About this text messaging program

The Dryer Vent Guy, a service company in Chicago, IL, may send you text messages from (224) 365-8368 if you have asked us to contact you by text. These terms explain how our text messages work.

What messages you may get

• Appointment confirmations and reminders
• Estimate and quote information, and follow-ups about your estimate
• Service reminders and updates about your job
• Occasional service-season notices from The Dryer Vent Guy, such as when a seasonal service is booking

How you opt in

You opt in when you give us your mobile number and ask us to contact you by text. For example, you can choose text as your contact preference on our estimate form, text us first, or tell us by phone or in person that texting is okay. We do not add anyone to our texting list without that request.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will get one message confirming that you are unsubscribed, and then no more texts from us. You can also call or email us to opt out. If you opt out and later want texts again, just contact us and ask.

Costs and frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your appointments and service. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge for our texts.

Consent is not a condition of purchase

Agreeing to receive text messages is not required to buy anything from us. You can request an estimate, schedule service and pay without agreeing to texts. We can always reach you by phone or email instead.

Carriers

Wireless carriers and their partners are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your privacy

We do not share your mobile number, or your text message opt-in and consent, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell your information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
